SnapMonk is an AI screenshot generator for App Store and Google Play. One person started it, the same person reads every support email, and the goal has not changed since day one — make it absurdly easy to ship a good-looking store listing.
The story
I am Rishab. I build software, and like a lot of indie devs I kept running into the same problem at launch — the app was done, the icon was done, and then I would spend two days fighting Figma to make App Store screenshots that did not look amateur.
The tools that existed were either too expensive, too generic, or required design skills I do not have. So I built SnapMonk for myself first — drop in a raw screenshot, pick a template, get a polished store-ready image. Then friends asked for it. Then strangers. So here we are.
Today SnapMonk has device frames for 25+ iOS and Android devices, localization into 12+ languages, AI-generated copy and layouts, and free exports for every store size you need. Pro adds team features and unlimited saved designs. That is the whole product.
What we believe
Screenshots should not require a designer
Most indie devs and small teams do not have a designer on call. The current options are a $200/month Figma plug-in or a $500 design gig per launch. Neither feels right when you are shipping fast. SnapMonk exists to close that gap.
AI should do the boring parts
Picking a layout, writing tagline copy, translating into 12 languages, mocking a device frame — these are mechanical tasks that AI handles well. Your taste and your app are the parts that matter; the rest is plumbing.
Free should mean free
Core screenshot generation, device frames, and exports are free with no credit card. We make money from Pro features for teams that need more — not from gating basics behind a paywall.
